Between 2008-2010, A PLACE CALLED HOME is seen by Central Indiana residents regularly at Heartland On Demand (Channel 627 for Bright House Networks Digital Cable subscribers. Heartland On Demand is a free channel dedicated to bringing the best of the last 20 years of Heartland Film Festival movies.

A PLACE CALLED HOME makes its local television premiere on PBS (WFYI TV20) on Thanksgiving Day, 2005 and plays regularly between 2005 and 2007.

In 2006 A PLACE CALLED HOME wins the Audience Award for Best Feature Film and the Hoosier Lens Award at the Indianapolis International Film Festival.

April 12th, 2006 A PLACE CALLED HOME screens at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago to a select group of faculty, students and staff.

HEARTLAND FILM FESTIVAL
In the summer of 2004 A PLACE CALLED HOME makes its festival debut winning a Crystal Heart Award at the Heartland Film Festival and draws the highest attendance of any documentary in the festival’s history. The film also received a 2nd Place for Best Documentary at the International Family Film Festival, an Honorable Mention Award at the ReelHeART International Film Festival and is screened at over 20 film festival nationally and internationally over the next two years.
