GAUNT FILMS

For over 15 years GAUNT FILMS has also been creating original films.  We focus on telling compelling stories with captivating characters that aim to provoke a deeper understanding of the human experience.  We recently produced the short thriller RED MAZE about a man who makes an ill-fated decision in an attempt to provide for his family.  In 2014 we produced the sci-fi short DAYS END about an impending apocalyptic event that alters a young man’s outlook on life.  We also co-produced the 2012 PBS documentary ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE about a group of Chicago artists that convert an old metal stamping factory into artist live/work lofts.  Our feature documentary A PLACE CALLED HOME: AN ADOPTION STORY won a “Crystal Heart Award” at The Heartland Film Festival, “Audience Award for Best Feature” at the Indianapolis International Film Festival and premiered on PBS.  Click Here to view additional samples of our films.   GAUNT FILMS is also a boutique production company providing organizations with creative content to promote, educate and inform their client base.  In the production of creative documentaries, promotional videos and website content GAUNT FILMS brings a wealth of experience to each and every project.  Click Here to view an abbreviated list of our clients and a few samples of past work.
